Aliza and I had our first official date since Audrey was born. She had cocoa at The Woods Coffee, and we sat by the fire and talked. She brought Mimi and included her in the conversation. So sweet. She sat on my lap and listen and chatted with me, she is growing up so much. She kept saying “date, date!”

Aliza has been really interested in wedding dresses and wedding rings, especially since she went to Jessica and Jesse’s wedding in August. She always notices women’s rings and asks about white dresses. She always asks for a white dress and a wedding ring… So on our date, I thought I’d take her to this tiny local store that carries wedding and party dresses. She walked in and said “WOW!” It was so fun. She tried on a few little dresses and loved it. She twirled around and started singing the song from Enchanted, “That’s how you know”. It is her fave. It was a great way to spend a rainy Fall morning. I sure love that girl.

Aliza loves getting the mail with me. Before we moved, we only had a Post Office Box. Scott would always just pick up the mail on his way home from work. Anyway, yesterday was the first time Aliza went with me to get the mail out of our mail box and found a letter addressed to her.

She was very excited. She just kept pointing to the ‘A’ in her name and saying “Aliza, Aliza”!   To add to the fun, it was a birthday party invite from her sweet friend Eliana. She loved reading it with me and looking at the cute little pictures on it. She carried it around for hours.

Thanks for inviting us, and we will be there!

Gen, I miss you! It is just not the same without you. I hope to see you soon.

Isn’t she lovely? Oh my this little girl just gets me! My baby is growing so fast. She is four months old today. It is just flying by.  As of today, she is 16lbs and 7oz, the 95th percentile! She is also in the 85th percentile for length!! She is one healthy little lady. She has such a sweet and charming personality. She loves to be around people and is super social. She starting rolling over a few weeks ago. Sleeping through the night is my prayer these days. I just keep telling myself that she wakes up so many times in the night because she misses me and wants to be with me! Three nights down in her own room so far…

This is how Aliza carried Mimi around in Trader Joe’s on Friday. She found my Peanut Shell sling in the backseat of the car and decided to carry her baby doll in it the whole way to the store and while we shopped. She walked around shushing and rocking her. It was adorable. She loves that doll and takes such good care of her-most of the time.

These pictures our from my maternity shoot, taken at the beginning of June, right before I had Audrey. I love these pictures of Scott and I, and  I’m so happy she got them. It seems everything in our lives revolves around the girls most of the time. I am thankful she was able to capture these. So for all of you readers who only look at this blog for the photos of cute baby girls…you are going to be disappointed!
