Aliza Grace is growing. 9 months old today. It is crazy to think that she has been out of my belly longer than she was in there! How does it go by so fast? She is an amazing little girl. It is such a privilege to be her mama.

Let’s see…this month Aliza got her first tooth! Pretty exciting, but very sad. She has been in a lot of pain, and it literally breaks my heart to be unable to console her. Other things that aren’t new, but just noteworthy… she is sleeping through the night, eating quite a variety of solid (ok-well pureed) foods, rolling, sitting on her own, waving and is just about to crawl! She is sooo close! You can just see it in her eyes that she wants to move, and she gets super frustrated when she can’t. I feel so bad for her. I just wish I could help! I know it will happen soon, and I will be chasing her all over the place.

She is such a different girl than the one we brought home from the Birth Center. She has grown and she has become such a happy girl. (When she isn’t teething or trying to crawl!!) She giggles, waves and smiles at strangers. I get told almost every time I take her out that she is “the cutest baby”! Although I know it is just an expression, I think people are just really drawn to her charming little personality. She is so precious.

  • AH – I love it! Look at how much she has changed! What a wonderful time lapse! You are totally right about her personality coming out in January! I have to say I love the Sept. pic – makes me yearn for Isaac as a newborn! I really love being a part of your lives and I know Sonny and Isaac feel the same way!

    We love you all!

  • This is such a great post! I love seeing how she has grown over the last 9 months. She is such a beautiful little girl. Andy and I always love looking at her photos together and oooh and ah over how sweet she is. Hope that we can make it up there this summer to visit the Kallin Family.
